French Match Stricker #OR
Delightful!!! And extremely scarce to find authentically old. Antique match striker which shows a lot of wear with several "I've lived a good life" chips. One underneath (not visible unless you turn striker over; three small nicks on rim about the size of a baby lentil (also not noticeable once filled with matches. Measures 4 wide x 3" H. Orange stripes with faded black and multi-color at match holder portion. Paris, circa early 1900's.

Spectacular find from a small bistro, offering the standard "plate of the day". Flat, hard Bakelite plastic (pliable) with original hanging holes and chalkboard trio. Measures 14 x 12". NINE AVAILABLE Sold individually. Fantastic authentic olive bowl found in farmhouses and bistros throughout Aix en Provence. Stoneware pottery retain heat extremely well if using for soups, oatmeal, and more. Completely food safe. Hand wash only. Measures 5" Diam x 2 3/4H". These were all made by hand so brown color on rim varies in shades. Provence, circa 1910.

THREE AVAILABLE. Our obsession. These hail from circa 1940 (we carry others MUCH older). We simply cannot get enough of these antique confit bowls which are great for mixing, holding fruit, serving. This style measures 12" x 5.5"Deep. The beauty of owning a slice of history is that there are marks along the side and two are without any chips; one has a minor chip on rim the size of a blueberry. In very good condition. Discovered at Marche aux Vanves outside Paris. France, circa early 1940's.
